Kate Beckinsale almost missed out on Pearl Harbour because her boobs weren’t bigger than her head
Indy: Kate Beckinsale has spoken on the Graham Norton Show about working with director Michael Bay while filming Pearl Harbour, claiming she was asked to “work out” to secure a part in the film.
The 42-year-old actress said Bay chose her because she wasn’t so attractive that she would alienate female audiences.
“I don’t think I fit the type of actress Michael Bay had met before. I think he was baffled by me because my boobs weren’t bigger than my head and I wasn’t blonde.”
“I’d just had my daughter and had lost weight. But was told that if I got the part, I’d have to work out. And I just didn’t understand why a 1940s nurse would do that.”
“When he was asked about me, he’d say, ‘Kate wasn’t so attractive that she would alienate the female audience.’”
I saw Kate Beckinsale in Vegas a few years back, and she is drop-dead, dribble from the mouth, leave the wife and kids and do not pass go or collect $200 gorgeous. The most stunning woman I’ve set eyes on.
Having said that, let me say this: Would she be hotter on screen if her boobs were bigger than her head? Absolutely. When we go to the movies or strip clubs, we don’t go to see the size boobs we see in the office every day. We want massive racks. We want them on blondes. We want them to have Jen Selter’s ass. We want all that with Kate’s face. Or we want them completely slutty like Megan Fox. So I’ve got to go with Bay here. Beckinsale added nothing to Pearl Harbour.
